Dealer Notes

This Subaru won't be on the lot long!

A great vehicle and a great value! A turbocharger further enhances performance, while also preserving fuel economy. Subaru prioritized fit and finish as evidenced by: adjustable headrests in all seating positions, lane departure warning, and power windows. It features all-wheel drive versatility, an automatic transmission, and a 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine.

  • Nice ride. Gas mileage and leg room are not good

My Ascent drives and rides nice but had a few short comings. The gas mileage is not as advertised. I am only getting about 15mpg City and 22.5mpg hiway. On a long trip I have seen 26 with only hi way driving. Putting car seats in the third row doesn’t work well. There isn’t enough room in the second row for a rear facing carseat without pushing the drivers seat forward if you need to use the third row. About a month ago my radio presets started resetting to default. They are resetting every day or two.
  • Our family dream car

From the moment we test drive this SUV, we knew right away or was perfect for our 6 person family. Everyone is comfortable in the gray feeling seats, and can easily get in and out of the vehicle unlike others we previously owned. I could go on and on, but bottom line is this is a tale Subaru made for all of us!
  • Poorly designed interior, poor performance

By Disappointed on Sunday, May 19, 2019

Drivers seat will not raise high enough for a short person, passenger seat will not raise at all, to many cup holders and not enough misc. storage. Right arm rest is to far away. Door panels could have been designed with more storage but Subaru wasted the space. The transmission shutters and vibrates the car occasionally, the engine will sometimes hesitate Until I think the engine is cut off. I wish I had never bought this car. I purchased it based on Subaru’s past reputation. Apparently it did not carry over in the Ascent.
